New Scientist 2023

Nyobolt attend The world’s greatest festival of ideas and discoveries ‘The New Scientist 2023’ at London’s ExCel,  in collaboration with The University of Cambridge, The Faraday Institution and the Grey Group discussing ultra-fast charging battery technology.

Nyobolt had the opportunity to meet with the general public as part of our STEM Outreach to engage with the next generation to teach them all about ultra-fast charging battery technology and how they will be crucial to achieving a net zero world. Visitors had the opportunity to build their own battery using pennies, and showcase how these batteries work using a Battery Jenga activity, which shows how lithium ions are transported and insert into the electrodes.
